The KDC-84G2F ButtsBoard™ Target Frame is another innovation from Patriot Products, that replaces the traditional wooden target frames used on KD ranges with a lighter weight, weather stable, safer and longer-lived solution. ButtsBoard™ is a proprietary formulated poly-blended material which is unaffected by precipitation, temperature, or sunlight, and non-shattering (when impacted by bullets) as well as non-ricochet. We manufacture a target frame, with replaceable individual components, that supports the standard 6′ x 6′ USMC and Army targets (in lieu of timber) and will withstand thousands of round impacts and last for years in normal use. Replacing traditional wooden target frames saves costly man hours (cutting and nailing 2′ x 4′ timbers), improves safety (reduces target weight by more than half), and is environmentally friendly – can be removed and recycled leaving no site legacy.
